New claims by controversial Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan, who has recently announced the discovery of three additional “non-human entities”. This revelation comes on the heels of his 2023 disclosure of two miniature corpses, purported to be centuries old alien mummies found in Peru.

Maussan, aged 71, who has described his findings as “the most important thing that has happened to humanity”, made the new claims on his podcast, Non Humano. He stated, “In addition to [the three we already have] three more bodies have just been discovered, three more bodies”. According to Maussan, these bodies were found during tests on the previously discovered larger "alien" named Montserrat, and one of them is purportedly male. Despite the magnitude of the claim, Maussan did not provide further details, and his conversation partner did not press for additional information.

The initial unveiling of the supposed alien mummies last year caused a global stir. Maussan presented two small bodies he claimed were alien corpses from Peru. However, Peruvian authorities quickly contested this, accusing Maussan of stealing the mummies and initiating legal proceedings against him.

Reactions on social media platform Twitter/X have been mixed, with some users hailing the discovery as "one of the greatest scientific discoveries in human history". One user commented, “This is one of the greatest scientific discoveries in human history”, while another termed it “amazing”. However, sceptics have called for rigorous verification of these claims before celebrating them.

During the podcast, Maussan mentioned that an "anonymous researcher" in Canada is studying the alleged alien bodies, with efforts underway to have the research peer reviewed to validate the claims. This step is seen as crucial for substantiating the extraordinary assertions about the nature of these entities.

The original mummies, reportedly unearthed in Peru and displayed there as recently as 2017, remain at the centre of the controversy. Ufologist Will Galison, who examined the mummies in Peru, expressed serious concerns about their authenticity. Speaking to NubTV, Galison said, “They found one bone in the arm of one of the mummies that clearly was not the organic bone that was there. So that raises the question, is the rest of it fake?” He further shared his doubts, drawing parallels between the mummies' bones and those of a deer skull he observed, which added to his scepticism.

The peer reviewed research and comprehensive forensic analysis will be critical in determining whether these claims are genuine or merely sensational. Until such verification is available, Maussan’s discoveries will remain shrouded in both intrigue and scepticism.
