No Place Like Home - The Close Encounters Podcast - Episode 1 - NIUFOS
 Alien Life & UFO/UAPs
Tuesday 28th, February 2023
Ireland Report / Story
The first show in The Close Encounters Podcast by the Northern Ireland UFO Society (NIUFOS).

With guest on the night Ed Blair, all things UFOs are discussed from World War 2 Foo Fighters to alien abductions on the island of Ireland.

There is also discussion about the UFO community within Ireland and the different organisations, there have been a few over the years but as well as NIUFOs, APRAI (formally UFOI) has been around for a long time, the late 2000s.

A story that is talked about is where the SAS witnessed an entity and freaked out the SAS members so much that they reportedly got out of the area.

The podcast is only in it's infancy but has the potential to be a nice fit to fill a gap in the Irish podcast community for anyone interested in the UFO topic.

In part 1 of this episode, Chris chooses a very small selection of weird and interesting news from around the world which covers:

  • Our recent very close shave with a "big-ish sized asteroid. Just how close was it?
  • A man awakens from the dead in Nigeria and describes in detail his NDE.
  • A comet not seen since the Stone age - will we be the last generation to see it?
  • Want a bit of a thrill? Local paranormal investigation group are now running their first public investigations of the year. Check them out.

In Part 2, Ed, the chief researcher of NIUFOS, joins Chris to talk about the UFO phenomenon in Northern Ireland.

And finally in Part 3, Chris gives a brief overview of the upcoming celestial and NIUFOS events.
