In a captivating gathering held at St Michael’s Theatre in New Ross, County Wexford, the "Day of the Unexplained" unfolded, bringing together paranormal enthusiasts, investigators, and experts for a day filled with mysteries and insights. Organised by GhostEiré’s Anthony Kerrigan and Mary Nolan of Back In Time Paranormal, the event successfully created a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences within the supernatural realm.

The historic town, known for its notorious paranormal activity and as the home of Loftus Hall, proved to be the ideal backdrop for this ghostly gathering. Attendees were treated to a diverse range of topics, covering everything from psychical study to UFOs, providing a comprehensive exploration of the unexplained.

The keynote speakers, including esteemed figures in the paranormal field, left a lasting impression on the audience:
  • Dr. Ciaran O’Keeffe: Renowned for his expertise in parapsychology and forensic psychology, he shared insights gained from his experiences on TV’s Most Haunted.
  • Steve Parsons: A leading paranormal investigator, his decades of experience and contributions to the field were evident in a presentation that resonated with the audience.
  • Helena B. Scott: The writer, historian, and psychic investigator delved into the occult, captivating attendees with her unique perspective.
  • Dr. Eamonn Ansbro: With affiliations to the European Space Agency, he provided a fascinating exploration into 30 years of documenting UFO activity.
  • Warren Coates: Founder of the Northern Ireland Paranormal Research Association, his expertise in paranormal investigations and historical knowledge left a lasting impact.
  • Dr. Gillian O’Brien: The academic in Irish Modern History brought a dark and intriguing dimension to the event, specialising in Dark History and Dark Tourism.
  • Ashley Darkwood: Ashley is a psychic medium, writer, paranormal investigator. Ashley is the founder of Darkwood Productions and the HighWycombe Paranormal Investigators
  • Dr. Callum Cooper: Is a chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has appeared on numerous UK and USA radio and TV shows for parapsychology and has lectured on death and bereavement.

The inclusion of stalls featuring mystical items, crystals, books, and paranormal paraphernalia added an interactive and vibrant element to the occasion. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals, fostering connections and discussions that extended beyond the formal presentations.

As the event concluded, the sense of camaraderie and shared passion among attendees was palpable.
