Veteran UFO Researcher Claims Extraterrestrial Encounters Have Resulted in Human Deaths

Veteran UFO researcher Jacques Vallée has stated that there are multiple cases of humans being killed during encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), asserting that such incidents have been deliberately concealed by governments.
Vallée, 85, a prominent figure in UFOlogy for decades, was a scientific consultant to the US Air Force’s Project Blue Book and served as the inspiration for the French scientist Claude Lacombe in Steven Spielberg’s 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Speaking recently, Vallée said, "I can tell you that in my files... some of which I contributed to the database of, there are at least half a dozen well-documented cases where the injuries that resulted in death were deliberate."
These files were reportedly assembled during his involvement in a confidential UFO study connected to the Pentagon. The study, known as the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP), aimed to assess the potential national security implications of unidentified aerial encounters.
Although specific details of the fatal incidents have not been disclosed, Vallée indicated that many of the examples occurred in Brazil. Reports from past decades have detailed alleged injuries and deaths attributed to mysterious lights and craft in the region, including a wave of sightings in the late 1970s.
Vallée claims that official secrecy surrounding these encounters is motivated by the potential societal impact of revealing hostile intentions from non-human entities.
"If we want to disclose... something as simple as saying, 'Yes, we acknowledge the phenomenon and it seems to be from space,' we would have to... answer a hundred other questions, that this is not the end of the story," he told KLAS-TV in the United States.
"There are religious questions... there is a religious side to all this."
Vallée has long suggested that the phenomenon may not be purely extraterrestrial in origin, proposing instead that it could involve interdimensional elements or advanced technologies that defy conventional understanding. His research continues to influence both scientific inquiry and public interest in UAP phenomena.
