Ghostly Face Caught on Camera at Rock of Cashel
 Ghost/Paranormal

The Rock of Cashel is an iconic location with an historic significance possessing a cluster of mediaeval buildings. There is a round tower, a high cross, a Romanesque chapel, a Gothic cathedral, an abbey, the Hall of the Vicars Choral and a 15th century Tower House.

A paranormal group based in Ireland going by the name Paranormal Supernatural Investigations (PSI) have reported that during a visit to the Rock of Cashel in December 2021 that they have captured what they say looks to be a face of a ghost watching members of PSI members.

One area that is said by the group to have caught their attention was the Vicars Choral Quarters, a spokesperson for PSI said, "One building that caught our attention was the Vicars Choral Quarters, when one walks into this building, it is common for people to get physical reactions. Many get headaches, which is attributed to the residual energy left there during the centuries of habitation. Others feel tensed energies, probably from the multitudes of discussions that were held within these walls. Others feel tightness in the throat area."

The spokesperson went on to say, "This is one of Ireland's (and probably the world's) most impressive and important ancient mediaeval sites."

"A lot of tragedies have taken place here, one being in 1647 when Earl Inchquin ransacked Cashel and the townsfolk fled to the Rock for protection, barricading themselves inside the Cathedral."

One thing that jumps to mind is pareidolia which is where you see patterns in randomness. An initial look at the photo is that it is of terrible quality, quality you wouldn't expect even of a low quality camera phone on the market these days, the image is very pixelated, between these two factors alone they could possibly explain the ‘face' in the photo.
