Mexican President Shares Photo Of Mythical Mayan 'Alux'

Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador posted an image on Twitter which appears to show an 'Alux' from traditional Mayan beliefs.
The President on Sunday the 26th of February 2023 shared the image on Twitter stating, "everything is mystical".
Mr. Obrador wrote, "I share two photos of our supervision of the Mayan Train works: one, taken by an engineer three days ago, apparently from an alux."
The photo is said to be of an 'alux'. 'Aluxes' exist in traditional Mayan belief as small mischievous beings which are said to be similar to elves and they live in forests and fields.
'Aluxes' are said to be tricky spirits that play jokes on people and then hide.
The photo was taken at night and shows a possible unidentifiable creature at the top of a tree with white eyes and hair.
