A small UK village in Derbyshire has become a 'hotspot' for UFO activity with reports that NASA have shown interested and one resident reports that they sold video footage of a UFO over the village to a producer for £20,000.

There is one report of a local, Sharon Rowlands, being contacted by NASA where an interest was expressed in footage the local had captured of an object in the sky over her back garden.

Rowlands is reported to have sold the footage for £20,000 to a Hollywood producer in 2001 as well as NASA reportedly contacting her to examine the recorded footage, with NASA stating that the footage could be key to solving a 90's mystery.

NASA scientists believed Sharon's video showed a similar type of craft once spotted by the space agency's cameras. Their sighting came during the STS-75 Columbia Space Shuttle mission in early 1996.

Other reports in the area of Bonsall include a woman reporting seeing a "ball of fire" in the skies in the village. While another claimed to have seen "two big, bright lights.", and a dog walker alleges that he witnessed a "pink glow, vertically shaped like a shoe box".

Additionally to Rowlands encounter there have been 19 other sightings reported in the region of Bonsall.
