Closed Minded Attack on Michio Kaku's Hypothesis on UFO Source

We recently saw Michio Kaku have an open and frank discussion on the UFO/UAP topic with Joe Rogan which it seems is now looking to be leveraged against Michio in the Scientific Community.

An article written by Ross Pomeroy on realclearscience.com looks to be anything but objective, the article literally says that Micho is, "jeopardizing his reputation and misleading the public through his unscientific new stance on UFOs".

The interview between Michio and Joe was centred around the new videos and testimony from U.S. Navy pilots released by the Pentagon in the past year.

Pomeroy brings in Steven Novella from the Skeptics' Guide to the Universe (SGU) to back up his article against Michio, with Novella stating, "It’s not like we have a high-resolution, in-focus, relatively close-up video of an object where you can make out what the object is... The phenomenon is 'it's a blob and I have no idea what that blob is'. The fuzziness of the data is the phenomenon.".

It's fact that UFO's exist, what they are is a less clearly defined answer and it's very easy to go after the quality of the majority of videos seen (which is understandable), but we're not talking about video captured by any random person, we're talking about video captured on military grade systems used to hunt enemy combatants and HVT's around the world.

The scientific community needs to accept that a military organisation that spends billions yearly on R&D in advancing the sciences for military applications should probably be listened to when they say they can't determine what the source of a subset of these UFO/UAPs are.

A nice quote from Novella at the end of the article stated, "When tricky, biased observations are put up agains the laws of physics, I will bet on the laws of physics every single time.", a nice assumption to be made from a skeptic that the laws of physics that we have defined as humans are correct.
